Room Highlights – Comfort, Style, and Amazing Views
Our room at Le Ali Del Frassino was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located. We had our own outdoor area right next to the adults-only pool with our own lounge chairs. It was such a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee or unwind after a day of sightseeing. On the other side of the room, we had another private outdoor space with a table and chairs facing the lake.
Inside, the room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The room was air-conditioned and included a desk, flat-screen satellite TV (which we never turned on), minibar, electric kettle, and a large wardrobe with a safe. The bed was firm but comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows.
The bathroom setup was a little different but very practical. The toilet and bidet were in a separate room from the shower, which featured both a rainfall showerhead and a handheld spray. The hotel’s own brand of toiletries felt luxurious, especially the thick lotion and fresh-scented bath gel.
If you need to press clothes, note that there isn’t an iron in the room, but the staff quickly brought one when we called reception. The only minor downside was the lack of outlets and USB ports. We had to unplug a lamp to charge our devices, so if you travel with a lot of electronics, a small power strip might come in handy.
Overall, the room felt both elegant and inviting. The combination of comfort, thoughtful touches, and those lake views made it easy to settle in and feel completely at home.

Good food always makes a trip better, and Le Ali Del Frassino did not disappoint. We ate at the on-site Ardea Purpurea Restaurant for two breakfasts and attended a special group dinner there that was arranged for the wedding guests.
The dinner was definitely a highlight of our stay. The couple hosting the wedding organized a private meal for everyone, and the restaurant did a wonderful job. The evening started with an impressive buffet of appetizers featuring cheeses, cured meats, fish, and vegan options. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. For the main course, we were served a creamy risotto, and we ended the night with delicious tiramisu. Between the food, the service, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Frassino, it was a memorable evening.
Breakfast at Ardea Purpurea was just as enjoyable. Both mornings, we found a generous buffet with pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, cheese, meats, and several kinds of bread. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it was easy to linger over coffee while enjoying the lake view. Don’t miss the cherry tart—it was our favorite treat on the buffet.
The resort’s second restaurant, Il Tuffetto, is located near the main pool. It has a more casual atmosphere than Ardea Purpurea. It looked like a lovely spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

We loved that the spa was included in the stay. It made us fit a little pampering into our schedule which we never do when traveling. The hour passed quickly, but we felt completely refreshed.
For those who like to stay active, the resort also has a gym that’s open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. We didn’t have time to use it, but we saw that it was well-equipped and modern. Instead, we chose to explore the property on foot. Walking around the grounds, with the lake and gardens all around, was a relaxing way to get in some steps.
If you’re in the mood for something more adventurous, the hotel also offers bicycle rentals, a great option for exploring the surrounding countryside at your own pace.
Service and Staff
The service at Le Ali Del Frassino stood out from the moment we arrived. Everyone we interacted with spoke excellent English, was friendly, professional, and eager to help. It felt like the kind of place where the staff genuinely wants guests to enjoy their stay.
One moment that really impressed us was when the staff helped us recover Russell’s jacket, which he had accidentally left in a taxi. They made the necessary calls and got the jacket back to us quickly. That kind of personal attention really made a difference and showed how committed they are to their guests.
Throughout our stay, the reception team was always available to answer questions, help arrange transportation, and provide local tips. Service at the restaurants and spa was equally excellent. Every interaction felt warm and sincere.
Getting to Le Ali Del Frassino and Getting Around
Le Ali Del Frassino is conveniently located near Peschiera del Garda, which makes it easy to reach whether you’re coming from Milan, Verona, or another part of northern Italy. The closest train station is Peschiera del Garda, and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the station three times a day. For those driving, the resort offers free parking as well as a recharging station for electric vehicles.
Be sure to book your spot on the hotel shuttle in advance. The times listed for the shuttle are when it leaves the hotel, so it will be at the train station a little later. If the shuttle schedule doesn’t align with your train, the staff can help you arrange a taxi, which costs around 20 euros (2025 price) each way.
It’s important to know that the hotel is not within walking distance of town. The road between the resort and Peschiera del Garda does not have sidewalks and has quite a bit of traffic with several blind turns, so walking isn’t safe. The shuttle or a taxi is definitely the way to go.
Once you’re settled, getting around the area is easy. The hotel’s location makes it a great base for exploring both Lake Frassino and Lake Garda.
