Happy travels!
I really loved your thoughts on Avebury. I am from Marshall, Texas. My wife and I just spent 4 days walking around Avebury and on the Ridgeway,. We had a ticket to Stonehenge, but skipped it to go to a Gomez concert in Cardiff, Wales. A great place by the way. Thanks.
Awe thank you. I would love to do that walk!
Hello. It is going to be late july… hot hot hot.. will have already seen much of portugal.. hoping to drive from faro ( or other coastal town we wake up in) into spain and see grenada, seville and cordoba. can we take our rental car into spain and dip into these 3 cities, sleep a night and return car back to faro or is it too hot or too ambitious? suggestions on lodging in faro or any of those spain towns? how would you do this with 2-3 days or nights? thanks
Sorry, I have not visited that part of Spain, so I’m not sure. You can check out http://www.atlifestylecrossroads.com for more info on Spain, since she lives there. In the Algarve, I recommend the Holiday Inn, but it’s about a 45-minute drive from Faro.
Hello, my husband and I will be going to Niagara falls for 2 days mid august in Canada. I purchased ‘Niagara Falls Canadian Side Tour and Maid of the Mist Boat Ride on Trip Advisor..but now i´m confused after reading your blog. Is this deal that I purchased indeed from Canada side or from Usa. Also, I found Niagara Falls Adventure Pass Classic which includes the Hornblower cruise for much cheaper. Does it make sense for me to buy that instead and cancel the one I purchased from Tripadvisor..
eagerly waiting for some guidance! thanks
It sounds like the tour you purchased either goes to both sides or they will actually take you on the Hornblower instead of Maid of the Mist. With two days, you don’t need a tour and you could see the attractions on your own. The pass is a good option but I would also suggest going to the Cave of the Winds on the US side. It’s not hard to cross the border (if you are a US citizen or have right to enter the US) and that was one of my favorite things in Niagara.
Is there a yearly fee or monthly. How d I book a flight?
Sorry are you asking about Dollar Flight club? If so, yes there is an annual fee and you would book the flight following the directions on the email. Most times you can book through Google Flights.
Good Morning! I’ll be traveling to NYC during spring break with my SIL and my niece. This will be their first trip and my 4th. I am looking for a good itinerary planner with a map so I won’t be wasting my time zig zagging back and forth. I had one my first trip from a travel website and it worked out pretty good. I can no longer find one and cannot remember which one it was. Can you recommend you for us?
thank you very much.
Sylvia – I actually don’t know of an itinerary planner like that for NYC. What I typically use is the “My Maps” function in google. Have you tried that?
Have you tried sticky toffee pudding yet ?
Yes, love sticky toffee pudding. I had tried some even before I moved to the UK.
Regarding Atlantis-Understanding it is not a all inclusive resort-does the resort fee cover all the activities as far as water parks, diving with dolphins, etc. I am traveling with adults and older teens and can’t seem to get an idea on what the cost will be for all the activities after paying for the meal plan, resort fee and hotel accommodations. I saw that you mentioned shows being extra (cover charge) but outside of that-thanks
It is a bit confusing. The resort fee does coversome activities like the water park, but there are others like the dolphins etc where there will be additional charges. I am not sure there is a list that details all this unfortunately.
